Trace of Rain

I guess it all depends on where you were today as to how much rain you got. At this location, we had a couple of showers that barely wet the pavement on the road. The best we can manage then is a trace. The ever-present overcast skies are still with us, so we may yet get a bit more rain before they move out. We still need to have last Autumn's foliage wet down a bit more to help prevent fires from breaking out and causing real problems.
The weather stick continues straight out, indicating unsettled weather, as I understand it. Two of the three electronic instruments are indicating improving weather with sun, and the last is calling for cloudy weather. I guess that I will stick with what the sky and weather stick are showing, and call it generally unsettled conditions.
