Overcast Gone
By the time I left for Portland the overcast was mostly dissipated. The sun came out and the weather cleared. It was a delightful day. The wind became a gentle zephyr, the temperature rose into the mid-sixties and the skies were clear. The temperature now is lower than it was this morning, and at this rate, it may freeze. It is already down to 35.4, and it has another six hours to go. I will be going to Portland again tomorrow for the second of the three Grand York Rite Masonic sessions. Today was the Grand Council of Maine, tomorrow is the Grand Chapter of Maine, and Sunday and Monday are the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar Sessions. These are all good men doing good work for some excellent philanthropic organizations, along with the Masons in the state.
The weather stick is pointed up again, and the three electronic weather stations are indicating fair weather. With the clear skies and all this instrumentation, who am I to argue?
