A Return to Colder Climes

The temperature has indeed fallen through the floor this morning. It has done what it does every spring, given us hope that winter was indeed over, and then sneaks back in to surprise us with some winter like chill. The best thing is that it will not last. A morning or two like this and the temperature will rebound into warmer territory. Right now, the sky looks like a sheet of black velvet with tiny holes and a strong light behind it. It is gorgeous. The wind is calm, and with the clear sky, it is no wonder that the temperature fell as far as it did. It may, or may not be at its low, but I will make the appropriate change this evening when I get back from my meeting.
Just as it was last night, all the electronic instruments and the weather stick are indicating fair weather, and I will stick my neck out and say the same. It is difficult to argue when all the indicators say the same thing.
