The required rain is falling here. The temperature is rising rapidly, and the relative humidity is also. There is no wind associated with this system at this point. The old saw at this point, and it is hopeful only, is, "Rain before seven, stop by eleven." I just looked at the radar, and it appears that it may be possible for us to have some very nice weather later in the morning.
All three of the electronic instruments are indicating rain and foul weather. The barometer is falling, but the weather stick is stubbornly pointed up, and indicating fair weather. I do not believe the weather stick or the old saw. At this point, I will put my trust in the modern technology, because that is what I see happening outside.
