A Bit More Rain Overnight

When I went out to do the chores yesterday evening it was raining, but we did not have a lot of rain. When I took Bart for his walk this morning it had stopped raining, and the clouds were beginning to dissipate. Right now the sun is out, and the temperature is rising rapidly. With this kind of weather it will not be long before it will be necessary to mow the lawn. I have noticed that there are several farms where the ground has been plowed, and made ready for planting. I am going to get my garden prepared this week, and probably plant some of the "cold weather" crops like lettuce, beets and carrots.
The weather stick is down and indicating continued foul weather. All three of the electronic instruments are indicating rain, but the sun is out, so I will suggest that we are in for a change. It looks like that change will be for the better.
