A Brief Hiatus In The Rain

Right now, (8:45) it is not raining. That does not mean we are going to have clear or even partly cloudy skies. Everything is getting green including my garden spot. I think I am beginning to develop gills and webbing between my toes and fingers. We are beginning to breathe water at relative humidities of 90% and greater. I am trying to make some jokes, in case you have not noticed. My lawn/pond is in need of mowing, and I am on the top of a hill. I can just imagine what it is like in lower lying areas. My bog has filled up again.
The weather instruments must be getting some special signals from out of the ether. One is predicting sun, and the other two are predicting fluctuating weather with an improving tendency. The weather stick is the only one that seems to have it right, pointing down at almost a 90° angle. I think I will go with that and suspect that we will have a bit more rain before this system moves out.
