Something New Unique and Different
Yes, we are having something new unique and different this morning, it is raining. It is the weekend, and it is raining. The prognosticators said it would be better. I am not sure what they meant, less rain?. We are definitely closing in on what was a record last year for the month of May, and we still have 11 days to go. I have seen one cornfield that was planted at about the same time mine was, and their corn is up. To date, mine is not yet making a showing. My garden keeps getting soggier and soggier. Our flower gardens are getting grassier and grassier. It is not possible to do the weeding necessary when the weather is like this. Gardening is supposed to be fun, and working in the rain, to me, is not fun, any more than riding a bicycle in the rain. I really need to do both, and I need some reasonably clear weather to do so. Listen to me whine.
I will copy the information on the instrumentation from yesterday, since that is the situation this morning. All the weather instrumentation is finally in agreement. The weather stick is pointed down. All three of the electronic instruments are indicating deteriorating conditions with rain for the next twelve hours or so. From the stratus clouds that are outside to the showers, I can see in the distance, I must agree with that assessment.
