I Got One Right
My forecast from this morning proved to be correct. Of course, I did not leave much to chance. As my wife said, the only things I did not predict were fog and snow. Oh well, being right is being right. This afternoon, around 15:00 hours, the rain started sporadically. We have now had almost a quarter of an inch, and it is still coming down here. I have looked at the models for the weather, and I have looked at the radar images. I am not really pleased by either of them. They are showing an awful lot of inclement weather on our doorstep.
Looking at my weather stick, I find it pointed slightly down. I think that means unsettled weather. OK, the Min/Max Thermometer and the remote weather station are indicating rain in the forecast. The weather station console is closer to the weather stick, and because I like the idea, better I will say that we will have some showers mixed with some unsettled weather. So, If you don't like the weather we have now just wait a few minutes and it will probably change. You might not like the change, but a few minutes later you might like the next change. I am no better than the folks that are paid to do this, but I think I do almost as well. I base my predictions on what I see, and what I feel in the atmosphere around me, and what all the data I have available to me shows. I get some right, and I get some wrong, but so do they!
