Finally, A Clear Morning
When I first arose there were a few clouds on the eastern horizon, and a little bit of ground fog. Since then the clouds have dissipated, and the ground fog has burned off leaving us with wet grass and clear skies. The temperature is already into the forties, and what wind there was came from the west, and is now calm. The radar images are showing no storms close to us, so we may dry out a bit. The model weather map is not predicting any clouds for the area today, and maybe not until later tomorrow afternoon. I will believe that when in happens.
Right now, my weather instruments are confused. The weather stick points down, and that is just not believable. The Min/Max Thermometer is predicting unsettled weather with a deteriorating tendency. The remote station is suggesting that the weather will be cloudy, and I don't believe that either. The weather station console is predicting an improving tendency with sunshine or clear weather. I would like to believe that. Confucius is reported to have said that a man with one watch always knows what time it is, but a man with two watches is never quite sure. That is the way I feel right now about my plethora of weather stations. I think that we will remain somewhat unsettled, although we may not have any rain for the next twelve to twenty-four hours. We shall see what happens.
