It Is Warmer This Morning

As I suspected last night we did have a shower that lasted about an hour from 01:30 to about 02:30. Since then, the fog has rolled in to obliterate the sky. The temperature is significantly higher than it has been for the last couple of weeks, but it is no drier, and the barometric pressure is lower than it has been lately.
For anyone keeping track (other than me) I actually mowed my lawn for the first (and only) time on 6 May. I had high hopes for the lawn and garden at that time. Since then we have had almost six inches of rain. That is not quite as much as last year, but it is still enough to put a damper on the lawn and garden care. I am seriously disappointed.
The weather stick is pointed down, and we all know what that means. All the electronic instruments are predicting rain. I guess that we will have some more rain today. According to the NEXRAD Radar and Modeling Maps any rain we get should be gone by noon. I will believe that when I see it. The rest of the weekend is predicted to be almost summer like. We shall see, since I am not that optimistic.
