For the first time in many moons it was a comfortable night for sleeping with the windows open. The low temperature did not get below 45°F, and that made it absolutely delightful. I got outside before the sun was fully up, and I took the picture below. I am not quite sure what the picture shows, but there appear to be some heavenly bodies rising along with the sun. If anyone can identify them, or if they know what is pictured there please inform me. I am curious to know if it is a function of the camera, the atmosphere, or the sun.
The weather stick is slightly down, and clinging to its prediction of unsettled weather. Two of the other instruments are indicating improving conditions with sunshine. The remote station is forecasting a mix of sun and clouds. I would like to discount the weather stick, since it almost always is pointed down in the morning. I would like to believe the two instruments predicting sunshine, but I suspect that the truth is probably closer to the mix of sun and clouds. This afternoon will tell the tale.
