Cool & Clammy

Despite the overcast, the temperature is already on the rise. The high-pressure system that was in control yesterday is apparently gone and the barometric pressure is beginning to fall. Before it rains, I hope to get outside and start cleaning up the weeds that are trying to take over the garden. The ground is finally dry enough to walk on. At least I should be able to replant those crops that have rotted in the ground due to the rain we have had this month. A summary of the conditions for the month should appear early tomorrow morning.
The Weather Stick still seems to have it as close to correct as one can get. It is pointed slightly down, indicating continued unsettled weather. Two of the electronic instruments are predicting improving conditions with sun, and the Min/Max Thermometer is predicting rain. Once again, I ask, who can you believe? I have checked the NOAA forecast map, the NEXRAD Radar and the Weather Underground Model Map, and it appears that we are in for some rain later this morning and into tomorrow. Unsettled is the best I can come up with for a forecast for this area with a chance for rain and showers.
