No Showers But Overcast

That is correct. Overnight we have had a very heavy dew, but there has been no additional precipitation. The sky is currently overcast and there seems to be some threat of showers. The lawn needs mowing again, and the garden still needs to be cultivated. The barn also needs to be finished. I will get something done today even if it is wrong. The garden is out of the question because it is still so much like walking in oatmeal. The lawn can probably wait until Monday, and that leaves the barn. "The die is cast," as Caesar said when he crossed the Rubicon.
The weather instrumentation and the weather stick finally are all in agreement. They are all calling for deteriorating conditions with rain, and the weather stick points down. I did see the glow of a red sky this morning as well. All of these portend some foul weather for the next 12 hours anyway.
