Hazy, Hot, Humid And Overcast

Clouds have built in to the point where it is now overcast with what appear to be stratus clouds. There does not appear to be any rain around right now, but the air is absolutely oppressive. It certainly feels like there could be a shower around before the evening is over. We have gone from a cold wet spring to the very oppressive dog days of summer. Bart, my oppressive hot weather indicator, has remained virtually motionless all day. He and I have gone for several short walks, and that is about it. Right now, I am pretty well recovered from the Trek Across Maine, so tomorrow I will be out slaving in my garden to try to get it done.
The weather stick is not quite sure what it is going to do, so it points slightly up. The rest of the electronic instruments have agreed in no uncertain terms, and they say that we will have stormy weather.
