Clouds And Sun

After this morning's showers, we have played peek-a-boo with the sun for the rest of the day. How does one characterize a day like today? It was quite warm and humid, there was not a lot of sun, but when it was out the air became oppressive. It was a summer day and yet it was not. We really need to get rid of this constant rain or we will have no hay and no gardens. This is not a good situation. If I do not get the garden prepared in the next couple of days, I will have some real problems. In large measure, this is my food for the winter, and it needs to happen.
At least the instruments are beginning to get their acts together. The weather stick points slightly up giving us hope for unsettled, but improving weather. The Weather Station Console predicts improving weather with sun. The Min/Max Thermometer and remote weather station are indicating improving yet mixed clouds and sun. That is the closest they have been to agreement for a while. Let us hope that they are right, particularly about the improving part.
