Is It Really Not Raining?

I can actually hear some birds singing thins morning. I cannot identify them, but they are singing. It really is not raining. I am shocked. That does not mean that it will not rain, just that at this moment (05:30 hours) it is not raining. I realize that it is probably too much to ask for, but if we can now get some sun to dry things like garden spots and lawns out something can be accomplished outside. I might even be able to cut some wood. Wow, what a concept!
The weather stick, appropriately, points down, and we all know what that means, if it means anything. My other weather instrumentation is in the same position it was last night. I believe that is the result of the very high barometric pressure, and probably does not mean a thing in terms of the forecasts they are giving me. The only thing different from yesterday morning is the rain. Yesterday it was raining and this morning it is not. That does not mean that it does not feel like it is going to rain, because it does. This morning I sit here trying to cool down, and everything is sticking to me.
