We Did Have A Shower

It did rain accompanied by a whole lot of thunder and lightning between two and three o'clock this afternoon. We, apparently, did not get the worst of it, since someone reported to me that it hailed in Augusta. Not long after the storm was over the sky cleared and the relative humidity fell significantly. That can be noted by the very low dew point this evening.
It may take a while for the weather instrumentation to catch up with the weather. When I came up here all three instruments were showing rain. Now the Weather Station Console is indicating improving conditions with a mix of sun and clouds. The weather stick points straight out indicating unsettled weather at best.
