Donder And Blitzen

At four o' clock we started a thunderstorm here. In less than 15 minutes we had 0.47 inches of rain. That is significant. The rain keeps coming down, so tomorrow morning I will add to the monthly totals. All the indicators said we would have more rain today, and they were correct. Bart is currently curled up at my feet looking very worried. At least he is not trying to hide under the bed as he used to. With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone.
The Weather Stick points down, and since it is raining and the humidity is up there is no shock there. The three electronic instruments indicate continued rain with deteriorating conditions. Since we are in the middle of a thunderstorm, I would have to agree with them. Oh, the sky is overcast with cumulonimbus clouds. Isn't that a surprise?
