Hazy, Hot And Humid

The atmosphere is not giving us any relief. Unless there is a change we will have a third day above ninety degrees and that will constitute another heat wave. I did check out the view toward Mount Blue and the air was blue with haze. The smoke from my wood boiler was blowing down indicating low pressure in the area. The heat and humidity have been oppressive this afternoon. I did get my field mowed, so the golden rod may not get to go to seed and make the field inedible for the goats. I have noted that where I had thistle I no longer do because they were cut down before they could go to flower. The goats don't eat thistle either.
The relative humidity at 44% has had an effect on the Weather Stick and it now points up. The three electronic instruments are in the same mode they were this morning forecasting rain. I guess a scattered shower is not out of the questing this evening.
