A New Month, Same Pattern

We did not have as much rain in July as we did in June, but 3.81 inches is still significant. Lat year we had 2.75 inches of rain during July. Therefore, we are over an inch ahead of 2005. The temperature and humidity are still combining to make things quite uncomfortable, and that is keeping the dewpoint well above 60 degrees. The barometric pressure has fallen a little, but it is still, basically, steady. I have several errands to run this morning, so if the rain (if there is to be any rain) can hold off until tonight it would be a good thing.
Right now, my indicators do not predict rain, or inclement weather. The Weather Stick right now points down, but then it usually does. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer continue to indicate improving conditions with sunshine. The remote weather station is getting like the Weather Stick, it seems to forecast clouds most of the time, and this morning is no exception. The N.O.A.A. forecast map is predicting rain today.
