This Is A Churken
This morning after I finished my report I looked out the window again, and there was the fog. It had crept in on its little cat feet, and was pea soup dense. That does make another foggy morning for September. The sky was partly cloudy most of the day with the cirrocumulus clouds and some altocumulus as well, the temperature did exceed 80°F, there was no rain and the relative humidity was 54%, making the NO.A.A. forecast fair. They got 3 out of the 4 parameters that I watch correct making it a grade of 75%.
Weather Underground still predicts a good day tomorrow with a chance of showers late in the day or during the evening. N.O.A.A. predicts fog and possibly some rain for our area overnight, temperatures falling from 68°F to 50°F and the relative humidity rising from 76% to 100% by morning. I am not sure I agree with them, but that is what they said.
My instruments are calling for the same as they did this morning. The barometric pressure has fallen a bit more which still means that the low-pressure system is slowly moving in. The Weather Stick is slightly down, and we already know that is in response to the slightly lower humidity than we had this morning. I did not see a sunrise or sunset, so I have no help there, and the cloud types do tend to portend precipitation. I do not think that tomorrow will be a very nice day, but that is just my guess. If it happens that way, it may be a while before we get into any nice weather again.
