Storm Has Moved On

The low temperature occurred at around 07:24 this morning at 54.8°F. That has been noted in this morning's report. It has taken most of the day for the clouds to move off to the east, but they have, and we are now left with just a few cumulus clouds to the west along with the red sky. That should portend a nice day tomorrow. I would have to give N.O.A.A. a 90% on their forecast from this morning. They had the relative humidity at 58% not 45%, the cloud cover at 48% that was about right, the weather as going from showers to no rain and the temperature was supposed to be 69°F not 72.5°F.
The Weather Underground forecast model map shows the clouds pulling away overnight and no precipitation until possibly late tomorrow night. The N.O.A.A. forecast maps show us as having no precipitation overnight, temperatures falling from 57°F to 46°F (it is already below the 57°F), the cloud cover increasing from 50% to 64% and back down to 52% by 05:00 hours and the relative humidity increasing from 67% (it is already 81%) to 83% by morning. They are not doing very well so far.
The Weather Stick points straight out, and it is a little drier. That could portend unsettled weather if you believe weather sticks. All three of my electronic instruments are predicting the barometric pressure will continue to fall, and we will have more rain overnight. I do not quite believe that, and suspect they just have not caught up with the reality of what is going on outside. The red sky to our west and the nearly cloudless sky indicate to me that we are in for a cool night (no frost here) with clear skies and rising barometric pressure. How is that for flying in the face of all the other prognostications?
