Thunder Clouds About
I have taken photos to the
west,
south
and east
showing the cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds, and they are shown here. We did have a shower from14:30 hours to 15:30 hours and collected another 0.02 inches of precipitation. N.O.A.A. got that one wrong, the temperature rose to 75.3°F, the cloud cover went from 100% to around 30% and the relative humidity reached a low of 50% not 78%. For today's forecast I have to give N.O.A.A. a 10%, they did not do well. The Weather Underground forecast map did not do much better, since we only had the one shower this afternoon.
Weather Underground and their model forecast maps are calling for the possibility of thunderstorms this evening, ending by morning. N.O.A.A. forecasts no rain for our area overnight, temperatures falling to around 43°F, the cloud cover to increase from 53% to a high of 72% then falling back to 58% by 05:00 hours and the relative humidity should increase from 98% to 100%. I do not know about this forecast.
My Weather Stick points straight out, with 65% humidity, that is not a surprise, and it might even mean some unsettled weather. All three of my electronic instruments are still in the falling barometer and rain on tap for us mode. I yield. I cannot predict this kind of unsettled weather, and I will not try this one.
