Lots Of Clouds Passing By
We had no rain today, but there were cumulus clouds passing by, so we had a mix of sun and clouds all day, and into the evening.. We did have sun and moderate temperatures, but there were a lot of clouds as well. The day was bright and warmer than yesterday. N.O.A.A. missed the temperature by 10°F, the cloud cover was closer to 60% and they got the relative humidity within 2%. I will give them a score of 55% for their forecast, and I will give myself a 50% score since I missed the amount of cloud cover that we had.
For tonight and tomorrow, the Weather Underground model forecast map says no rain. N.O.A.A. is calling for fog to move in around 02:00 hours and continue until sunrise, the temperature to fall to 45°F, the cloud cover to rise from 46% to 52% and the relative humidity to rise from 77% to 100%. One of these days I would like to see my Weather Station Console read 100% relative humidity. It has not happened yet.
My Weather Stick points straight out, and with the humidity where it is it must be predicting unsettled weather. Both the Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer predict a mix of clouds along with deteriorating barometric pressure. The remote weather station is back to forecasting clouds with steady barometric pressure. My sense is that we will experience some unsettled weather, but at this point we probably will not have any rain along with the fog creeping in later.
