The Clouds Are Moving In
This has been a good day to get some things done outside before snow flies.

The Season Changes All To Fast
Yes, I mentioned the unmentionable four-letter word beginning with S. It is coming, and I cannot hold it back. The clouds have moved in to nearly cover the sky far more that 44% as forecast by N.O.A.A. The other parameters of rain, which we did not have, high temperature of 59°F that they missed by 10°F, and relative humidity at 48% (8% higher than predicted) all go to produce a score of 35%. Not very good by my reckoning.
The Weather Underground model forecast map indicates that the rain will not start until around 21:00 tomorrow night, and it should end by 06:00 hours Monday morning. N.O.A.A. forecasts the possibility of showers by 02:00 tomorrow morning, but no accumulating precipitation overnight. They further predict the temperature to fall from 51°F to 42°F, the cloud cover to increase from 53% to 73% and the relative humidity to increase from 56% (where it is now) to 93% by 05:00 hours. We will see what happens overnight.
My Weather Stick points up and that could be due to the low humidity (that is my guess) or continued fair weather. All three of my electronic instruments forecast improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer and Weather Station Console further predict continued fair weather. The remote weather station forecasts a mix of clouds and fair skies. With the cloud cover as it is right now I suspect they are all wrong, and we will see rain by morning. There I go again crawling out on that limb with a chain saw to cut it off between the trunk and me. Am I going to be a hero or a bum?
