The Rain Slowed To Occasional Drizzle
Can you imagine going from 0.18 inches of precipitation to 2.56 in 24 hours? Well, that is exactly what we have done. For some reason I am very happy that this was not snow. The two systems did join and gave us a pounding. The Weather Underground maps are still calling for some showers through the overnight. N.O.A.A. predicted 62°F for our high, it was actually 66, the cloud cover did not fall, and the relative humidity is still over 90%. Score for N.O.A.A. for today is 25%.
N.O.A.A. predicts the showers should end by around 23:00 hours, the temperature to fall to 39°F, the cloud cover to dissipate to 42% and the relative humidity to remain in the 98% range. I think that is all quite possible, except perhaps the temperature.
My Weather Stick is stuck in the down position today, and with the relative humidity where it is that is no surprise. The Weather Station Console predicts more foul weather with deteriorating barometric pressure, and the remote weather station predicts the same. The Min/Max Thermometer says the barometric pressure will improve and we will have a mix of clouds and fair skies. This should be interesting. Based on what I see with the weather maps and predictions of N.O.A.A. as well as the NEXRAD radar I tend to believe that the showers will end and the skies will clear somewhat.
