A Very Clear Morning Start
As I went outside this morning I was greeted with not quite freezing temperatures and clear skies. I saw plenty of stars, but I could not detect any cloud cover. N.O.A.A. did not fare very well with their overnight forecast. We did not have any precipitation overnight, the temperature only reached 34.1°F, the cloud cover at 05:00 was non-existent and the relative humidity was 80%. It appears that their forecast data was not possible; therefore they get a score of 25% for the temperature 1°F is nothing between friends.
For today the Weather Underground model forecast map predicts no rain for our area. N.O.A.A. predicts a mix or rain just north of us, but none for our area. Further they predict the temperature to rise to a high of 51°F by 14:00 hours then fall back to 49°F by 17:00, the cloud cover to rise to 60% then fall to 58% over the same time frame and the relative humidity to fall to 44% then rise to 48%, again over the same time frame. I am just going to let the chips fall where they may on this one.
My Weather Stick responded to the lower humidity by being slightly down. The Min/Max Thermometer and remote weather station both forecast deteriorating barometric pressure with rain. The Weather Station Console forecasts improving barometric pressure with mixed fair and cloudy skies. Based on the clear skies outside right now I would suggest that we would have a clear day, or at least partly cloudy, with cool temperatures and light breezes. I think I will take a walk in the woods to see if I can figure out where the deer will be located in about two weeks.
