Windy And Cool Overnight
The wind continued to blow overnight ushering in the high pressure and colder air. Both the Weather Underground model map and N.O.A.A. predicted correctly that we would have no precipitation overnight. My best estimate is that they did get the cloud cover correct as well. The temperature and relative humidity at 20:00, 23:00, 02:00 and 05:00 hours follow with the forecast/actual data.
Temperature: 45°F/36°F//39°F/34°F///34°F/34°F///30°F/32°F. (-16%)
Relative Humidity: 58%/70%//64%/55%//72%/69%//75%/71%. (-28%)
This results in a score of 60% for the overnight forecast, and that is passing, but just barely with a "D".
For today, the Weather Underground model forecast map is predicting that high pressure will be in control here. N.O.A.A. also predicts that we will have no precipitation, and the cloud cover will increase as follows: 20%, 34%, 47% and 62% respectively. The temperature and relative humidity are forecast to respond as follows at 08:00, 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00 hours:
Temperature: 34°F/41°F/48°F/49°F.
Relative Humidity: 69%/55%/42%/42%.
My Weather Stick points straight out this morning, and with the combination of 71% relative humidity, clear skies and wind, that is no surprise. The Weather Station Console predicts that we will have fair skies today with improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer predicts the same conditions. The remote weather station now predicts clouds with a steady barometric pressure. It appears that we will have some wind again today, very low cloud cover and cool temperatures. That is my forecast, and I am sticking to it.
