Clouds Move In Again
The clouds have become the dominant feature this afternoon. Despite the cool temperatures, it has not been an unpleasant day. We did not have any precipitation, and the cloud cover percentages I cannot really argue with, so N.O.A.A. gets a bye on those. The temperature and relative humidity I can be a bit more accurate about, and they are as follows, as I reported last night's data:
Temperature: 34°F/35°F//44°F/48°F//48°F/55°F///49°F/49°F. (-12%)
Relative Humidity: 69%/69%//55%/49%//42%/59%//42%/48%. (-29%)
This results in a grade of 59%, and that is still a failure.
For this evening and early tomorrow morning, the N.O.A.A. forecast is calling for the possibility of scattered showers with a cloud cover of 85%/88%/92% and 93% at three hour intervals beginning at 20:00 hours. The temperature and humidity are expected to be reported as follows:
Temperature: 43°F/39°F/38°F/36°F.
Relative Humidity: 55%/67%/82%/79%.
My Weather Stick points slightly up. The electronic instruments cannot agree at all. The Weather Station Console forecasts improving barometric pressure with fair skies. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts deteriorating barometric pressure with unsettled weather. The remote weather station forecasts deteriorating barometric pressure with rain. I did feel a drop of rain earlier when I was outside, but nothing I could record. It appears that we will have some unsettled weather this evening, and I cannot be more specific than that.
