Some Sun Broke Through This Afternoon
Yes, we did see the sun for a few minutes this afternoon, but it was short lived, and we are now back in the clouds. It did remain basically grey today, although we did not have any showers at this location. There were showers around, just not here. The 87% cloud cover would just about cover the amount of sun that broke through late this afternoon. The temperature and relative humidity readings compared with the forecast ones are tabulated as follows:
Temperature: 37°F/38°F//44°F/46°F//47°F/45°F///46°F/43°F. (-8%)
Relative Humidity: 91%/91%//68%/79%//58%/71%//58%/75%. (-41%)
The daytime score for N.O.A.A. is 76%, which is a "C", the first truly passing grade in several days. We will keep trying to get them to provide an accurate forecast.
For the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts that there be scattered showers around, and the cloud cover will stay in the high eighties and low nineties for percentages. The temperature and humidity are detailed below as I have done the past couple of days starting at 20:00 and reported every 3 hours:
Temperature: 42°F/39°F/38°F/37°F.
Relative Humidity: 71%/77%/78%/81%.
Morning will certainly tell the tale.
My Weather Stick points slightly down, and if you believe in it, there is a portent for unsettled weather overnight. My Weather Station Console forecasts rain with deteriorating barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer is mixed up, forecasting unsettled weather with an improving barometric pressure. The remote weather station predicts rain with a steady barometer. My best guess is cloudy to partly cloudy skies with a chance for showers. I expect very little change in temperature or relative humidity.
