Here We Go Again

When I took Bart out for his morning constitutional there was just a little bit of rain falling. So far, we have not had enough to measure, but that may change. Since yesterday morning, I have not been able to get to the NEXRAD site or the Weather Underground site to view either the radar or the model forecast map. The problem is apparently with my ISP. At any rate, the N.O.A.A. forecast for this area was apparently correct for last night. We did not have any measurable rain, although I have heard that there have been some rain and snow showers around the area, just not in our immediate area. The cloud cover prediction was also correct. The comparative temperature and humidity data are detailed below:
Temperature: 42°F/40°F//39°F/40°F//38°F/40°F//37°F/41°F. (-9%)
Relative Humidity: 71%/79%//77%/80%//78%/80%//81%/87%. (-20%)
Once again, N.O.A.A. scores a grade of "C" with a 79% score. They have improved a bit. I hope that this will continue to improve.
For today, N.O.A.A. predicts scattered showers of either rain or snow, depending on your elevation. Their prediction for the cloud cover, beginning at 08:00 hours is 75%/74%/73% and 76%. Their prediction for the temperature and relative humidity are tabulated as follows:
Temperature: 37°F/44°F/48°F/47°F.
Relative Humidity: 79%/80%/80%/77%.
There is also some expectation that we will have a considerable amount of wind during the day today.
My Weather Stick points slightly down, which portends unsettled weather if you believe weather stick prognostications. My electronic instruments all forecast rain. The remove weather station predicts that the barometric pressure will remain steady, while the other two instruments predict it will fall. The Weather Station Console currently indicates that the barometric pressure has risen since I started this report. We seem to be looking at another grey day, and I suspect that we may see some showers (rain here, snow farther north). I guess it is time for me to bring in my analog rain gauge and whirligig before they are damaged by the extreme weather we can have here.
