What A Disappointment?

The storm that was supposed to develop, according to our T.V. personalities never did. Two systems were supposed to join forces and really give us a nasty storm. All we saw here, in Wilton, were some nimbostratus clouds that one would expect when a storm breaks up. We even had some sun today. As you can see from the photographs there were some showers around, we just did not get any of them. N.O.A.A. did get that right as well as the cloud cover. The temperature and humidity are tabulated below for the 3-hour periods starting at 08:00 hours this morning. As usual, the forecast number is first followed by the actual data from my weather station.
Temperature: 37°F/43°F//44°F/49°F//48°F/51°F//47°F/45°F. (-16%)
Relative Humidity: 79%/74%//80%/59%//80%/58%//77%/59%. (-66%)
If I include the relative humidity, N.O.A.A. would surely fail again. Without that data, they do pass with a score of 79, and that is a "C+".
For tonight, the Weather Underground model forecast map is predicting no precipitation. N.O.A.A. predicts that we will have a possibility of scattered mixed precipitation, and a cloud cover of 74%/75%/76% and 70% at the usually specified times from 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours. The temperature and humidity are tabulated below:
Temperature: 41°F/38°F/37°F/35°F.
Relative Humidity: 70%/76%/75%/82%.
My Weather Stick points straight out, and that is not a cause for celebration. The Weather Station Console is mixed up forecasting unsettled weather with an improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer is more definite, forecasting fair skies with an improving barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts rain with an improving barometric pressure. Can we believe anyone? My best guess is that the weather will be unsettled, blustery, a possible shower and maybe some fair skies as well. No, I can't make my mind up either, and I don't have enough data to make an educated guess at what the weather will be overnight.
