I did go into the woods for a little while. When my shirt started to get wet through my jacket, I left. I heard two gunshots, but did not see any deer. I will try again when the weather is a bit better. The N.O.A.A. prediction on the start of the rain was much closer than my estimate, and it has rained all day. 99% would be a conservative estimate of the cloud cover. My Weather Stick points down. Can it predict the kind of weather we are having? The three weather instruments predict continued falling barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console forecasts a storm warning. The Min/Max Thermometer and remote weather station predict rain. Well, they are all right. We are in the middle of a storm and it is raining. I guess it will continue to do so for a while. The wind in this area was not as much of a factor as it was supposed to be.
