Windy, Windy, Windy!!

For today there is a small car/loose wig advisory posted. Our barometric pressure has reached a new low at 28.78 in Hg, and that outdid our last record of 28.89 in Hg recorded last Saturday October 21st. Our high wind overnight was 22.3 miles per hour, which did not equal the high from last Saturday at 35.3 miles per hour. Still the wind is the predominate feature this morning. I do agree with the cloud cover as forecast by N.O.A.A., and the rain did not continue after my report of last night. The temperature and relative humidity forecast/actual is tabulated below:
Temperature: 46°F/56°F//44°F/56°F//43°F/45°F//41°F/41°F.
Relative Humidity: 96%/93%//93%/89%//86%/77%//82%/80%.
The actual temperature data is a bit higher than the forecast data, and the actual relative humidity is lower than the forecast data. I still think there is something wrong with the model that N.O.A.A. uses, or the data for their model comes from somewhere other than the forecast location. For instance, I noted that Wunderground was reporting clear skies for this area, yet there is a cloud cover in the range of 75% or more. The Waterville airport is reporting clear skies, and I believe that is where much of the forecast data comes from.
The forecast for today from N.O.A.A. is for a showery mix of precipitation, both liquid and frozen, but with the broken clouds, we are experiencing and the wind it appears that will not happen. The cloud cover is predicted to be 97%/93%/88% and 87%, and that appears to be what is happening. The temperature and relative humidity forecast data is tabulated below:
Temperature: 42°F/43°F/44°F/43°F.
Relative Humidity: 73%/65%/62%/60%.
Note: the times for this data are now 07:00, 10:00, 13:00 and 16:00 hours, now that we are back on Eastern Standard Time.
My Weather Stick points straight out due to the lower humidity, and perhaps because of the blustery unsettled weather. The barometric pressure has risen 0.05 in Hg since I started this report earlier this morning. High pressure is beginning to take control of the weather. My electronic instruments are forecasting improving barometric pressure, and that is happening. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer are now forecasting fair skies (earlier they were calling for a mix of fair and cloudy skies). The remote weather station has not gotten the news and is forecasting rain. I think that high pressure will regain control and, while it will be windy, it will be a nice autumn day. (11:00 hours the temperature is over 50°F.)
