Windy With Mixed Precipitation
Beginning late this afternoon we had some showers with a mix of frozen and liquid precipitation. This is what N.O.A.A. predicted for the entire day, but they were widely scattered light showers. I would also agree with their assessment of the cloud cover for the daylight hours. The forecast/actual temperature and relative humidity data are tabulated below:
Temperature: 42°F/41°F//43°F/51°F//44°F/46°F//43°F/42°F.
Relative Humidity: 73%/74%//65%/64%//62%/60%//60%/64%.
This was not a bad showing.
The forecast from N.O.A.A. is for more mixed precipitation overnight, light and quite scattered over the area. The cloud cover is expected to be 87%/45%/58% and 74% overnight beginning at 19:00 hours. The temperature and relative humidity predictions are detailed below:
Temperature: 39°F/36°F/35°F/33°F.
Relative Humidity: 67%/69%/72%/75%.
My Weather Stick points down and I guess that means foul weather or high humidity depending on what you believe. All three of the electronic weather instruments forecast improving barometric pressure. So, I guess that the high-pressure system is moving in. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer forecast fair skies overnight, but the remote weather station forecasts rain. Whom can you believe? I am suggesting unsettled conditions overnight with some improvement toward morning. My guess is as good as the next weather prognosticator.
