I was surprised again this morning when I took Bart out for his morning constitutional. It was snowing, it was over 40°F and it was snowing. Wow! Not only that, but also the wind was blowing quite hard. There was no accumulation, but this is certainly a sign of things to come. The wind still has not abated, and I thought we were supposed to be through with this last night. N.O.A.A. did get the predominant weather correct since we have had widely scattered mixed precipitation overnight, and there has been no accumulation. The cloud cover that I see appears to be higher than the 74% they predicted for 04:00 hours. The forecast/actual temperature and relative humidity data are detailed below:

Once again, N.O.A.A. has done a fair job of predicting the temperature and humidity.
For this morning, N.O.A.A. predicts light snow showers scattered over the area. The NEXRAD radar is not showing much in the way of echoes this morning. N.O.A.A. predicts that the cloud cover will decrease from 84% to79% to 74% and finally to 60% by 16:00 hours this afternoon. Their predictions for temperature and humidity are tabulated below:

My Weather Stick, in response to the lower humidity points straight out. This may also be in response to the unsettled, windy conditions with the improving barometric pressure. My electronic instruments are still forecasting improving barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts stormy conditions. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer are forecasting fair skies for today. I would like to believe that the clouds will dissipate and we will have a clear albeit cool day today.
