Cloud Cover Greater Than 22%!
The prediction last evening was for the cloud cover to be about 22%, but, when I stepped outside this morning, the clouds had moved in from the west to take up residence and give us the red sky seen here.

Red Sky This Morning Should We Take Warning?
Bart certainly did not want to stay outside very long with the temperature hovering in the upper 20's. We did not have any precipitation overnight, and, as noted, the cloud cover predictions were a bit off the mark. The forecast/actual temperature and relative humidity data are tabulated below.
Temperature: 37°F/40°F//33°F/40°F//31°F/35°F//29°F/29°F.
Relative Humidity: 56%/54%//63%/55%//69%/63%//75%/80%.
Once again, N.O.A.A. has done a good job of predicting the temperature and humidity for the overnight period.
For today, N.O.A.A. has predicted we would have no precipitation and the cloud cover would be 24%/36%/44% and 50%. Their predictions for the temperature and humidity are detailed here:
Temperature: 30°F/43°F/51°F/49°F.
Relative Humidity: 76%/50%/49%/60%.
We shall have a better idea of today's weather this evening.
My Weather Stick points slightly down, and considering the relative humidity, barometric pressure, cloud cover and the red sky it could suggest some unsettled weather moving in, but that is only if you put stock in weather stick predictions. All three of my electronic instruments predict improving barometric pressure. The two usual suspects are calling for fair skies, while the remote weather station forecasts a mix of clouds and fair skies. Looking at all the data, we may be in for some unsettled weather. I am not predicting any precipitation, but a mix of sun and clouds is not out of the question.
