Yup, the sun did show up just about an hour before it set. After that, the clouds moved back in and we are overcast with stratus clouds again. The cloud cover never did really break up to yield some fair sky. We saw the sun, and then it went away. When I went out to photograph the weather stick I thought I saw some stars, but I guess I was mistaken, or they went back into hiding behind the current cloud cover. The comparison between the forecast and actual temperature and relative humidity are next:

The actual temperature was pretty close to the forecast, but N.O.A.A. missed by quite a bit on the relative humidity forecast.
Overnight N.O.A.A. is forecasting scattered light showers all night for our area. The cloud cover is predicted to be 68%/76%/83% and 88%, I am not so sure about that, or the showers either. The forecast temperature and relative humidity set forth by N.O.A.A. are tabulated next.

I am beginning to be convinced that the deviation of the actual readings from the forecast data is that MADIS selects the sites to compare and base their forecast. The sites they select may not be the best ones. I think my data is accurate based on other instruments I have, both digital and analog. I am not sure what the other sites are using or when their data is uploaded.

My Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer are both calling for fair skies with improving barometric pressure. The remote weather station forecasts a mix of clouds and fair skies. Based on what I can see I think that is the better forecast. We may see a scattered shower overnight, but we will certainly see, at least, partly cloudy skies.
