There is some very dense fog outside my house, and N.O.A.A. did not predict it. Above the fog, it is overcast, as nearly as I can tell. N.O.A.A. did predict increasing cloud cover overnight, and it appears that has happened. They also forecast scattered light showers overnight, and while we did not get any measurable precipitation here, you may have gotten some where you are. The forecast versus the actual temperature and relative humidity are tabulated next:

The difference between the forecast and actual temperature ranged from two to four degrees, and that is not too bad. The relative humidity forecast differed from the actual by nearly 20% at each of the times compared. That is not very good at all.
N.O.A.A. predicts that we will have rain all day today, with an accumulation of about 0.07 inches of rain this morning and 0.13 inches this afternoon. The cloud cover is expected to be 93%/89%/84% with an increase to 91% at 16:00 hours this afternoon. The temperature and relative humidity forecasts are detailed in the next table.

This certainly fits in with a forecast of rain and overcast skies that we are supposed to have today.
My Weather Stick points down, and once again with 91% humidity that is not a surprise. My Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer predict improving barometric pressure with fair skies. The remote weather station forecast is for unsettled weather (mixed clouds and sun) with a steady barometric pressure. Based on what I can see (or not see because of the fog) outside I would tend to go with the latter unit today. Once again, I am surprised that the weather is as unsettled as it is with the barometric pressure as high as it is.
