As the sun started to go down this afternoon so did the temperature. I suspect that the warm weather is now behind us, and we have winter on its way. We did deal with a mix of sun and clouds today, and the temperature just barely broke forty degrees.

I think the cloud cover was pretty close to what N.O.A.A. forecast, and we did not have any precipitation, mixed or otherwise. The temperature and relative humidity data are detailed next:

The temperature and relative humidity comparison started out well, but differed during the afternoon. This is, after all, autumn, and things can change very quickly.
For today, the forecast by N.O.A.A. is for no precipitation and the cloud cover dropping from 70% this evening to 25% by 01:00 and then increasing to 34% by 04:00 hours. The temperature and relative humidity forecast data are tabulated next:

It does appear that their forecast is for one cold night, and a very clear one.
My Weather Stick points straight out, and the relative humidity at 60% supports that. All three of the electronic instruments are forecasting improving barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer predict fair skies, while the remote weather station forecasts clouds for the overnight. We may have some clouds, but I think that for the most part, we will have clear skies, and it will be quite cold. I do not think we will need the horse and sleigh to get to Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving, but I do believe it will be much more seasonable.
