As I suggested earlier in the week we do not need the horse and sleigh to get to grandmother's house today, at least in this area. We had no precipitation overnight, but it appears the clouds have moved in over us. They are only cirrus clouds, but that usually means that there is some precipitation in our near future. The usual tabulation of the forecast v actual temperature and relative humidity follow:

Overnight N.O.A.A. got the forecast temperature no closer than five degrees to the actual readings. The relative humidity missed the mark completely.
For today, we are starting out with no precipitation, but by 10:00 hours, we will be on the line with scattered showers just over us or just south of us. The cloud cover is predicted to be 30%/33%/35 and 47%. As usual, I have presented the forecast temperature and relative humidity next:

Right now (09:30 hours) the relative humidity is 83% and the temperature is 34.8, so there is agreement on the temperature, but not with the relative humidity. We will see how the rest of the day compares.
My Weather Stick points down, and that is, once again, a no-brainer. As noted earlier, we are sitting on a line between no precipitation and some light, scattered showers; therefore, the Min/Max Thermometer predicts deteriorating barometric pressure and rain. The Weather Station Console and remote weather station predict fair skies today. Their forecast for barometric pressure does differ, and the Weather Station Console predicts improving pressure, while the remote weather station predicts steady atmospheric pressure. I suspect that we will have a mix of sun and clouds today with a chance later today for some light and scattered showers.
