When a death occurs, it is always sad, but when it occurs at the holidays, it is even more so. Today our old Nanny Goat, Oreo, passed from this life. She was kidded in March of 1989, which made her 17 years old. She had not had kids in several years, but she took care of the newborn kids, and even produced milk for them. She was the last of our original tribe, and she will be missed. Our younger daughter showed her in a number of 4-H goat shows.

Now to the weather. We did not have any precipitation here, and the cloud cover remained between 70 and 95%. I have tabulated the temperature and relative humidity as usual

N.O.A.A. did quite well with the temperature forecast, but terrible with the relative humidity forecast. Oh well, what can I say other than try again folks.

My Weather Stick points straight out even though the relative humidity is at 80%. All three of the electronic instruments are forecasting deteriorating barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console and Min/Max Thermometer are forecasting cloudy skies with rain, and the remote weather station forecasts just clouds. There seems to be a mix of factors here.
