We have had clear skies for a whole day, and that has been most unusual. I cannot remember a longer period of time when that has occurred. It has been nice, particularly since this is a holiday weekend. N.O.A.A. and the Weather Underground model maps had the predominant weather correct, and the prediction for the cloud cover was very close to the actual, or maybe just a little high. The closest the forecast temperature was to the actual was five degrees, and that is not as good as the predictions have been lately. The relative humidity never got closer than three percent, and that was only at 01:00 hours. The rest of the predictions missed the mark by a country mile.
The current prediction for the predominant weather is for no precipitation overnight. N.O.A.A. further predicts that the cloud cover will continue to decrease to 3% by 01:00 hours. The temperature and relative humidity projections for the overnight are detailed next.

My Weather Stick points up, and with relative humidity at 64% that is reasonable. All three electronic instruments predict fair skies with improving barometric pressure. Now, that is unusual. Based on all the data in my possession the only conclusion I can come to is that the high-pressure system is currently firmly in control, and that we will have a clear, cold night with no precipitation.
