N.O.A.A. keeps predicting some form of precipitation, and the sky gnomes keep refusing to give it up. Sooner or later the predictions will be correct. It has remained cloudy all day, and the current clouds are called rain layer clouds. The temperature has remained above freezing since sometime yesterday morning. I can remember ice-skating at Thanksgiving, but it has not happened for the past few years. The temperature comparison follows.

N.O.A.A. missed the mark on the temperature forecast for the middle part of the day. Their forecast for the relative humidity was a little better, but it still did not hit the mark across the whole day.

My Weather Stick points slightly down. Two of the electronic instruments forecast deteriorating barometric pressure and rain. The remote weather station predicts deteriorating barometric pressure and a mix of fair and cloudy skies. I think I will discount this last predictions and stick with the others. The call, then, is for some light rain, above normal temperatures, light winds and overcast skies. As far as the rain, it may be scattered, so we may or may not get any.
