As the title says, we are fogbound this morning. We had no measurable precipitation overnight. I had a meeting last night, and when I got home the sky was almost clear. That clear sky allowed temperatures to fall lower than the forecast due to radiational cooling. Obviously the clouds moved in after I got home.
According to N.O.A.A. the fog should be gone before 10:00 hours this morning. They also say that we may have some light scattered showers from about 13:00 hours on this afternoon. With the temperature forecast to be in the mid-forties that should be all liquid precipitation, if we get any at all. The cloud cover is forecast to be in the 70 to 80% range, except that at about 13:00 hours its may be around 67%. My Weather Stick points down. All three of my electronic instruments forecast continued deteriorating barometric pressure and inclement conditions for today. I think that is exactly what we will have for the daylight hours today.

As you can see the N.O.A.A. temperature forecast data and the actual data were not close. I made the mistake of relying on the temperature forecast in hopes that my hose would not freeze. I fear that was a vain hope since the temperature reached a low of 26.4°F. It should thaw fairly quickly, though, since we are forecast to have another warm day. The relative humidity forecast was no better than the temperature forecast.
