A Day Of Transition

For the most part the cloud cover varied from cirrus, to nimbostratus to stratocumulus, and it ranged in the mid 70% area. N.O.A.A. did have the predominant weather correct, since we had no rain. Neither N.O.A.A. nor the Weather Underground model forecasts maps predicted any precipitation for the daylight hours. The temperatures are still above normal for this time of year.
Again, for the overnight N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation for our area, but a little north of us they may have some snow. The prediction is that the temperature will drop into the mid-twenties overnight. The cloud cover will probably be in the 50 to 60% range.
With the relative humidity at 55%, my Weather Stick finally points slightly up. The electronic instruments are all saying different things. My Weather Station Console forecasts partly cloudy skies with improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts rain with deteriorating barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts cloudy skies with steady barometric pressure. Looking at the data I have available both from my own instruments and the national weather service the best I can come up with is a cooling trend with cloudy to partly cloudy skies. I do not see any rain on the regional composite radar or on the Weather Underground model forecast maps.
