A Seasonable Night
Well, N.O.A.A. certainly did not get the predominant weather correct for our area. There were no snow showers of any type in this area. We did have skies that went from cloudy to partly cloudy and back to cloudy during the daylight hours. Our current temperature is lower than the low temperature was this morning. That certainly does not bode well for the overnight.
For tonight, N.O.A.A. is predicting no precipitation. By 04:00 hours tomorrow morning the sky is expected to be crystal clear. A 3% cloud cover is crystal clear. We are starting out with about a 45% cloud cover. The comparative forecast versus actual temperature and relative humidity as well as the forecast data for the overnight will follow at the end of this report.
My Weather Stick is responding to the 57% relative humidity and points up. My electronic instruments are forecasting improving barometric pressure. The Weather Station Console forecasts clear skies. The other two instruments are forecasting partly cloudy skies. My best guess is that the sky will continue to clear overnight, the temperature will fall due to radiational cooling and the breezes will continue light to moderate.
