Another Pleasant Night
We have had another clear night, and the temperature only reached the middle twenties. We did have some moderate wind, but nothing higher than five or 6mph. N.O.A.A. got the predominant weather correct, since we had no precipitation at this location. This was despite my electronic instruments, which were calling for rain or at least cloudy conditions.
For the daylight hours on this first day of winter, N.O.A.A. sees no precipitation and very little cloud cover. The Weather Underground model forecasts maps also forecast no precipitation for today. On the NEXRAD radar, there is some precipitation to our west, but it is moving very slowly, and will probably not affect us today.
My weather stick, in response to the 71% relative humidity, points slightly down. All three of my electronic instruments indicate deteriorating barometric pressure. Two of the instruments still predict rain for today, but the remote weather station forecasts only cloudy conditions. I still feel that the instruments are a bit ahead of their time since I see no clouds in the sky and only light winds. I would suggest that we will have another bright day with milder than normal temperatures and light winds.
