A Mackerel Sky

Once again, N.O.A.A. and the Weather Underground model forecast maps had the predominant weather correct. The clouds did begin to stream in by about 13:00 hours. By 16:00 hours, we were mostly cloudy, much more than 36% cloud cover. We were supposed to be warmer than yesterday, but with the lack of sunshine due to the clouds, we were not. At least it was not very windy so wind chill was not a factor.
Starting about 19:00 hours N.O.A.A. predicts icing conditions. That is predicted to continue all night. By 04:00 hours, the temperature is forecast to be above freezing. The cloud cover is forecast to be 100% by 01:00 hours and remain there until at least 04:00 hours.
For the first time in a long time, my Weather Stick points up, but that does not signify improving weather. It only indicates that the relative humidity is low. My electronic instruments are again making life interesting. The Weather Station Console forecasts fair skies and improving barometric pressure. The Min/Max Thermometer forecasts partly cloudy skies and deteriorating barometric pressure. Finally, the remote weather station forecasts fair skies with improving barometric pressure. Based on the cloud cover, the weather underground forecast maps and the N.O.A.A. graphical forecast maps I would suggest that we are in for a bit of inclement weather. If you need to drive tonight, I would be extremely careful after midnight.

N.O.A.A., did better with the temperature than the relative humidity today. They just do not seem to be consistent.
Forecast data for the overnight:
Temperature: 31°F/30°F/31°F/33°F.
Relative Humidity: 58%/72%/48%/51%
