When I started this report at 05:00 hours, the low temperature had occurred at 19:00 hours and was 33.6°F. During the past hour, the temperature has fallen to 29.3°F, and is the new overnight low. The sky has remained clear, and we have had no precipitation overnight. It appears that N.O.A.A and I did get both the predominant weather and the forecast for the temperature just about right.
For today, N.O.A.A. predicts no precipitation, a gradual increase in cloud cover, and warm temperatures. The general forecast for our area is for inclement weather to begin later tonight and last through tomorrow. The Weather Underground model forecast maps do not show that system moving in until late tomorrow. I am not quite sure what to believe.
In response to the 61% relative humidity, my Weather Stick points straight out. Two of my electronic instruments forecast fair skies and improving barometric pressure for today. The remote weather station forecasts cloudy conditions with improving barometric pressure for today. With the clear, star-studded sky and low humidity, along with the high barometric pressure I suspect we will have a very pleasant day. It will not be a white Christmas, but the white may come tomorrow. We are just going to have to wait to see what happens.
